Exam Preparation
Exam Description

Your exam will be administered via Survey Monkey and will consist of two short quizzes. Each quiz contains 35 multiple choice questions. You must pass at least one quiz with a score above 72%. To qualify for the Food Ingredient Safety Specialist certification, you will need to pass both quizzes with a score above 72%.

All quiz questions will be derived from the Reading Guide questions. There are a total of eight reading guides that you will need to have completed correctly as you go through this online tutorial.  Also download and use study guide in pdf file --->>>>

The skill set you will need to have to pass the FISS certification test is as follows:

1. You will have the ability to survey a client's kitchen cupboards and refrigerator and identify all foods containing ingredients with allowable levels of heavy metal or pesticide residue.

2. You will have the ability to identify what foods can be added to the client's diet to improve their health status.

3. You will have the ability to identify what foods must be removed from the clients diet to improve their health status.
